Help an adult learning group distinguish observations, calculations and claims. The pilot can use simulated or alcohol-free examples. No purchase, alcohol production or consumption is required.

Observe before interpreting

Use the brew-day measurement sheet with a supplied example, simulation or alcohol-free demonstration.

Show the calculation

Run the same documented inputs through a calculator, copy the result and identify every assumption.

Compare methods

Use the equipment chooser and a blank bench log to separate range, resolution, accuracy and repeatability.

Explain a decision

Teams present one observation, one calculation, one uncertainty and one next test. Optional private clubs can host a knowledge round.

Before the first session

Choose one learning outcome.

State what participants should be able to explain or calculate. Do not make purchasing, consumption or tasting a participation condition.

During the pilot

Keep names and scores optional.

Public lessons and worksheets need no account. Ranked rounds and private clubs require accounts; use pseudonyms and follow your organisation’s privacy rules.

After the pilot

Report evidence, not praise.

Record completion, the concepts participants missed, resource usefulness and requested changes. Do not publish participant names or quotes without permission.

For adults of legal drinking age where they live. The learning activities do not require alcohol consumption. Facilitators remain responsible for accessibility, safeguarding, privacy and local institutional requirements.
