From a symptom to a useful measurement
Check the evidence in your fermenter.
A quiet airlock or a higher-than-expected reading raises a question. Work through what you actually measured before changing the batch. This checklist suggests the next observation; it cannot diagnose contamination or certify packaging safety.
Keep a measurement log
Write down the batch, instrument, units, time and temperature together. Changing one observation at a time makes the next comparison easier to interpret.

This tool checks measurement quality before interpreting a trend. It does not assume that an apparent pause calls for extra yeast, sugar or heat. A stable reading still needs recipe and process context.
