Keep the evidence beside the process.

These resources help learners record measurements, show calculations and separate an observation from an assumption. They require no account and contain no affiliate links.

Brew-day measurement sheet

An A4 worksheet for planned and measured volumes, temperatures, gravity readings, timings and observations.

Use it to

  • Record the instrument and sample temperature beside each reading.
  • Keep planned numbers separate from measurements.
  • Write down one change to test next time.

Printable SVG · A4

Brewing formula reference

A one-page reference for ABV, apparent attenuation, recipe scaling, dilution and a transparent IBU estimate.

Use it to

  • Keep units attached to every input.
  • Record which formula or model produced a result.
  • Treat planning estimates as estimates rather than measurements.

Print-ready web pack · 3 A4 pages

Fermentation teaching pack

Three print-ready activities that separate substrate, conversion, fermentation evidence and packaging decisions across drink families.

Use it to

  • Map the material before and after each transformation.
  • Compare evidence with assumptions.
  • Use the answer key to check the reasoning, not only the final word.

Two short interface walkthroughs

These silent educational UI demonstrations were captured from the same interface now live on BrewMyBeer. Playback is accelerated to keep each walkthrough under 30 seconds. They show no physical brewing, tasting or product endorsement.

29-second UI demonstration

Find a lesson, then open its worksheets

A browser walkthrough of the public learning hub, the beer process preview and the free resource library.

On-screen actions

  1. The public learning hub opens and scrolls through six material-to-drink paths.
  2. The beer guide opens at “How beer is made: grain, hops and fermentation,” then moves through its process explanation.
  3. The resource library opens and scrolls to the printable brew-day measurement and formula sheets.

22-second UI demonstration

Calculate an estimate and share the inputs

A browser walkthrough of the ABV calculator using a transparent worked example. The result is an estimate based on the two entered gravity readings.

On-screen actions

  1. The original-gravity field changes to 1.056 and final gravity changes to 1.012.
  2. The Calculate button is selected.
  3. The page displays 5.78% estimated ABV and 78.6% apparent attenuation, plus the formula used for the estimate.
  4. “Copy link with these inputs” is selected so the same readings can be shared.

How to use the files

Print at 100% or save as PDF

The two SVG sheets use an A4 page ratio and remain sharp when printed. The teaching pack has three A4 pages and a print stylesheet; open it in a browser, choose Print, then print on paper or save it as a PDF. Empty fields are intentional so the learner records real observations.
