How we create content
BrewMyBeer explains drinks through reference recipes, transparent calculations and educational simulations. Readers should be able to tell what supports an explanation.
Sources and authorship
The rewritten guides cite sources next to the content and display when those sources were checked. Editorial drafts are identified as such. We do not claim a named expert reviewed a page unless that person actually did. AI assistance is used in drafting and software development; cited references and checks are recorded, and specialist review remains a separate step.
Recipes and testing
The cocktail library uses linked IBA references. These recipes have not been independently taste-tested by BrewMyBeer. We distinguish reference instructions, calculated quantities, simulations and actual hands-on observations. Illustrations are not evidence of a completed recipe.
Calculations
Tools show their equations, units, worked examples and assumptions. Software tests check selected expected results and invalid inputs. Those tests do not validate every real-world brewing condition or make the outputs laboratory measurements.
Commercial relationships
An affiliate relationship must be disclosed where a product link appears. A merchant redirect is not a confirmed sale. Draft product candidates are kept out of the public catalog until an approved destination and disclosure are supplied. Paid placements must be labelled.
Corrections and review
Material corrections belong in the page’s editorial record, including what changed and why. A new date should reflect actual review, not a cosmetic freshness update. The wider article archive is being reviewed in stages; an archive page is not evidence of a completed source review.
Audience
This is education for adults of legal drinking age. Games reward understanding, not alcohol consumption. Information about a process does not replace local rules, manufacturer instructions or appropriate professional advice.
