Spice & Tonic
A measured two-part highball built from a non-alcoholic botanical base and tonic water.

Ingredients
- Seedlip Spice 9450 ml
- Indian tonic water125 ml
Quantities scale proportionally. Ice, garnish and “to top” amounts depend on the glass. Prepare individual portions when a shaker or mixing glass cannot hold the full batch.
Garnish: Red grapefruit twist.
Method

Fill a highball glass with ice.

Measure in the Seedlip Spice 94 and Indian tonic water.

Give the drink a brief, gentle stir and add the grapefruit garnish.

The learning point
The source uses 50 ml of base to 125 ml of tonic, a 1:2.5 volume ratio that stays visible when the recipe is scaled.
Watch for this
A common mistake
Treating “top with tonic” as the source quantity hides the ratio. Measure 125 ml when you want to reproduce this reference.
