The Original Gravity (OG) Calculator by Grain Bill uses the formula: OG = 1 + (points / (batch size * 8.345)), where points are calculated as grain weight * grain potential. This formula is based on the standard brewing practice of measuring the potential of grains to contribute to the original gravity of the wort.
How to Use

- Enter the potential of the grains in points per pound.
